Capabilities
Baltimore County’s twenty-nine independent volunteer provides primary fire, rescue,
EMS, and hazardous materials response to 391 square miles of our county. There are 96,438 address points in our primary response aera. That is over 188 pieces of apparatus at a replacement cost today of 93 million dollars.
There are 2028 medically cleared active volunteer responders and thousands more who
provide administrative support, fundraising, and community assistance.
There is a total of 20,487 members in our system anywhere from new members who
just joined too retired.

51 multi-purpose Utility vehicles for medical assists and other such tasks

1 is equipped for Advance Life Support transport
5 Trailered Boats for use in all the inland waterways throughout Baltimore County

4 Tanker Support Units for drafting out of ponds and creeks in the non-hydrant aeras
