Still monitor the BCFD calls on my phone app (thanks Chestnut Ridge).
Our town has 2 paid fire stations but surrounding areas have Rural Metro Fire company, a private, pay by yearly subscription fire service.
Its a lot different here.
Keep up the good work. Your county and communities should be proud of the service you provide.

I remember back in the 80s Baltimore county paid had duplex Engines
the ones with the Booms on top
I remember 1,5,4,8,12,15, had them was there anyone else someone i know said 6 had one i don't remember is there anyone who remembers these details better yet anyone that might have a few pictures would be great if you can share them i want to build them for my model train set up and try to get the details right Thanks much Joe

Great site guys. Just stopping by to say hi! I am a firefighter myself for 16 yrs. I also own a graphics business. I do vinyl decals, can koozies, etc. I have tons of firefighter graphics that i ship all over the country.
The web page is well put together and easy to use. I also like how the PAT tag department redesigned the pat tags to have the vol. association patch on the back of them.
As a District Rep for the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Rescue Association I just wanted to comment on how easy your web site is to use and how nice it looks.

I'm originally from Dundalk, and my Dad's family was from Edgemere. Matter of fact, once they moved from the Point in the late 40's, they moved into the house that is the second house from the Edgemere station. How many times those sirens screamed as those trucks flew down North point Rd. to a wreck or fire. Or the carnivals in the summers they would have. My uncle Bill Elways was a fireman for many years until he died. What a funeral-with firetrucks and the whole nine yards- a funeral for a hero. My granddad Hunt died in Sept 1978, my grandmom Hunt in Aug 2006, and my Dad Gary Hunt in Jan 2007. There are a ton of memories at my grandmom's house there at 7604 N.Point Rd. and everytime I can still remember a siren and a firetruck whenever we were there. Thank you!

I am Jarrett Dixon's 1st cousin and grew up w/him. I know that he was very happy and fulfilled w/his life being a Firefighter, EMS and other emergency services. I can't tell you how much I miss him and still in shock. I have yet to get to the point where I can imagine life w/o him...we'll help each other through this tragedy. From the bottom of my heart, I just wanted to thank everyone for being his other family. You are all very special to me!

I have always looked at the calender for the assoc. meeting now i can not do that it would be nice to review calender and not need passwords. before once you signed on you could look at calenders
