BCVFA LOSAP Administrative Board Needs Your Opinion, And The Opinion Of All Of Your Members!

Each year the BCVFA Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP) Administrative Board is charged with developing a Budget request to be included in the BCVFA Request to the County Executive for Funding consideration.

In the past we have typically requested increases to the Monthly Benefit.  Now that that benefit has reached $300 per month, we are asking the members of the BCVFA to provide feed back to us regarding what benefits they would most prefer we pursue in future Budget Requests.

Please keep in mind as you complete this short survey that the LOSAP Program is intended to be an incentive to keep you/your members Active in the fire company, and so we ask that you select the options you would like to see in an order that would be most attractive to you to keep you involved and active in the company.

"Paid or Volunteer, It’s What We Do, I Wish You Really Knew”

Prince George's County Fire Chief Marc S. Bashoor delivered a message to the congregation of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden.  His message centered around the tragic events of an early morning house fire where four family members perished; no smoke alarm was found in the house.

His message was well received not only on that Sunday but also by the thousands that have watched the video.  Many have asked for the words to the poem that was read, "It's What We Do."

It is what we do - the Poem
